ROBERT PUSCHAUTZ
Stabat Mater Art Fellow
THE STABAT MATER ART FELLOW
The Stabat Mater Foundation is happy to announce its fulltime association with Robert Puschautz, of Tyler, Texas, formerly the Stabat Mater Art Fellow at the St. Philip Institute of Catechesis and Evangelization of the Diocese of Tyler.
The Stabat Mater Art Fellowship is designed to produce commissioned art for parishes and Catholic institutions, as well as help the artist grow and sustain his or her patronage. The Stabat Mater Art Fellow also helps develop and direct the development of the Stabat Mater Foundation and its work.
As the first recipient of The Stabat Mater Art Fellowship, since 2018 Robert has produced several paintings for the Diocese of Tyler and its parishes across East Texas. In collaboration with the St. Philip Institute, Robert has rewarded the Diocese and its faithful with his expertise, education, and teaching skill. He has conducted several workshops on sacred art and faith for the benefit of clergy and laity alike.

He had already contributed two beautiful paintings, "Madonna of the Roses" and a master copy of Bouguereau's "Pieta," to the Redemptoris Mater Chapel of the John Paul II Campus Ministry at The University of Texas at Tyler.
